Michelangelo Buonarroti | Italian Renaissance Painter(1475-1564)

In his lifetime Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni was called the DIVINE which means the divine one. Michelangelo was born on 6th March 1475 and died on 18 February in the year 1564. He was commonly known as Michelangelo. 

He was from Italy and was a sculptor, painter, architect, poet, and engineer of the High Renaissance era he was one of those artists who are behind the intense development of the Western Art. He took art to the best possible heights and had created many unparallel and very famous art works. This was due to this reason that Michelangelo was considered for the title of the archetypal Renaissance Man along with one of his fellow Italian artist whose name well known all over the artistic community as well as among a common man i.e. Leonardo da Vinci.
