Charles Warren Mundy was born in 1945 and is an American impressionist painter. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. His works has been displayed in the Indiana state Museum, The University of Louisville Hall of Fame, Indianapolis 500, Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art, Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
In the year 1994, he took more personally satisfying and challenging career of painting en plein-air and left his successful career as an illustrator of sports events and figures. From his first painting trip to France, Charles Warren Mundy started to paint impressionist paintings. He then captured the variable atmospheres of the traditional impressionist haunts in an overcast morning, Drizzling October Morning, Pont Aven, the saturated sunset hues of Cote D’Azur, and the Muted fog tones of Paris, Pont Neuf. These French works were some of his core exhibitions and his new and unique style of painting got lot of accolades and recognition among the public and art collectors.
