Sebastian Krüger is a German painter and caricaturist; he was born in 1963 in Hamelin. His basic medium is acrylic paint, and his caricatures and art works are hyper realistic. After studying free painting with Prof. Dörfler at the Braunschweig University of Fine Arts, he made a great reputation as the designer of a number of cover spreads for the press in Germany and abroad and as an illustrator and creative designer of various LP covers. The Times praised him for "capturing the essence of his subjects" in his renderings. He is well known for his lifelike depictions of The Rolling Stones, in particular, Keith Richards.
Sebastian Kruger published three collections of his works, and has a yearly art calendar from Morpheus International. Kruger's art can be seen frequently in many magazines such as Playboy magazine and has also been featured in the likes of Stern, L’Espresso, Penthouse and Der Spiegel and USA Today. He has recently been working on select motion picture projects.

His creative art works attract a huge numbers of visitors to the galleries and museums. Creative contemplation of the apparatus of media presentation, the icon mania of contemporary production of images, is the defining characteristic of his paintings. His Faces are a benevolent but subversive tribute to the world of the beautiful surface, the rock and pop culture of the sixties, with which the artist has cultivated an almost ritual relationship.
